She can fight with normal swords as well as with her special one. Yatsufusa: March of the Dead With her sword, Kurome is able to revive the dead and place them under her control. She can only have eight dead slots under her control at the time, and to add more, she has to 'release' those she already controls. She can only use this on people and creatures she personally killed. She decided to earn money by keeping her old job and getting paid for it. After all, there were many people who wanted to get rid of someone, whether they wanted to ensure the peace of this island as a whole or for personal reasons. And she could make that happen. One had to use the talents they had, after all. And her particular talent was killing people. Many saw it as evil, but she did not. After all, it was inevitable. Death was a part of life. The only reason Kurome used to fear death is because she feared losing those closest to her, and that fear was neutralized thanks to her sword. And yet there were no requests yet. None at all. So Kurome was bored, and for her, the best way to quell her boredom was eating. So she decided to search for the restaurants in the area, specifically the ones that served cakes. In her former country, the prime minister tried to pass the meat from the body of some unfortunate prisoner as chicken meat a couple of times. Naturally, it didn't work, but at least it was entertaining. Kurome was not satisfied. Peaceful life didn't suit her. She needed some sort of conflict. Conflicts were usually started by someone the masses would eventually want to get rid of, which meant more money for her. Money she could use to buy more cakes.
